The Healing Web | Free PDF
‘The Healing Web is a bi-hemisphered index of holistic and pharmacological remedies for most common illnesses and conditions. It’s a visual aid to illustrate the variety of alternative therapies available, and the central importance of diet in treating all diseases. Western Medicine, though useful at times, is built on toxic treatments that fail to address the true causes of disease, and draw trusting patients into lifelong treatment plans. The web includes the historical origins of both systems in the upper corners of the diagram. An optimal approach to healthcare would utilize the best techniques of both systems.
Let the Healing Web guide YOU to find lasting physical and spiritual healing.’
I discovered the artist Dylan Louis Monroe and his Deep State Mapping projects earlier this year and have been eagerly awaiting the release of his free pdf ‘Healing Web’ which has finally been released today. His ‘Q-Web’ diagram spread virally across the dark web in 2018, becoming a worldwide phenomenon. It was published by the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the exhibit ‘Everything is Connected’ in September 2018.
I’m a visual learner and love the concept of this as a way to look at things from the bigger picture. The research that is coming out is clear; lifestyle choices are a powerful predictor of disease meaning those small choices we make day-to-day soon add up and either weigh up on the side of health or illness. We’ve all heard the phrases ‘we reap what we sow’ and ‘every action has a reaction’, but we often stop short at accepting that this also applies to our own lives. Those endless office treats seem harmless in the moment, as does the chocolate bar after another stressful day, yet in the long run these may well contribute to illnesses we could have prevented.
Just to be internet-clear; I don’t advocate everything on the map.
